This is mine and Callum's stop/start animation, we created this using iStopMotion. Firstly we drew a background, this wouldn't be able to move. We then drew and cut out all the sections that would move, for example; the head, wings, arms, legs, body etc. This was the basics we needed in order to create our animation.
To create the animation we used a camera on a stand and used the iStopMotion software to take still images each time changing the position of the things we wanted to move. For example at the start of the video we moved the water droplets out of the toilet and onto the floor etc. Each time we moved the sections we took 2-3 stills, this made the animation run more smoothly and meant it didn't jump, as much.
We then took the animation into iMovie in order to add sound effects and to edit the clips. To make our animation run more smoothly we should have made the pieces not move as far each time although this was hard as the paper we drew the different parts on were fiddly.
